Anointing of the Sick
May be administered to anyone undergoing a long illness or infirmity, or anyone preparing for medical treatments or surgical procedures. Please call the rectory to make arrangements.
In the Catholic Church, there are three categories of ordained ministers: bishops, priests and deacons. All are members of the clergy and are ordained. A deacon's service has three aspects: Word, worship and charity. Deacons proclaim the Gospel and, on occasion, preach. They can preside at the Liturgy of the Hours. Deacons can baptize, witness marriages, and conduct wake and grave-site services. For more information, please call the rectory.
